Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle full set of accounts including AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate SST submissions and compliance with local tax requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities.
- Monitor and manage cash flow and banking transactions.
- Process and verify employee claims and payroll-related accounting.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support the Finance Manager/Head of Finance in any ad hoc reporting or tasks.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in IT Consultancy in Malaysia.
- Familiarity with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and SST regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. SQL, AutoCount, Xero, or similar).
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written & verbal).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications (optional):
- Experience with multi-currency accounting.
- Exposure to cross-border payments or regional accounting operations.
- Familiarity with HRDF, EPF, SOCSO, EIS compliance.
